Carmine is a heavily subverted archetype in the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC, breaking the mold of typical NPCs with her rude and blunt personality.
Despite her unpleasant demeanor, Carmine is not a villain or antagonist, but rather a realistic character who goes through growth while still retaining some of her old self.
