With a quick glance at my oeuvre on Dualshockers, it’s no secret that Nintendo played role in my formative childhood years and has followed me into my adult life. That being said, I will try my hardest to put my own bias’ aside and be objective about other consoles for a change. But it’s tough, ya know? Love them or not, Nintendo has always been a wild—and often obtuse—stallion, constantly innovating and doing its own thing for decades. Perhaps it’s that pioneering spirit that is so attractive, and, like a galloping maverick, there are those who’d like to rein in and break it.
