About Isabella Risoni

Isabella Risoni is a SNHU Game Art and Development high honors graduate who began her gaming journey at the young age of 3. Her passion for gaming only grew as the years went by as did her love for writing. She became a self published author at the age of 20 and began streaming video games at 27. Once she obtained her Bachelor's degree in 2022, she decided she wanted to combine her two worlds of writing and gaming. With over 25 years of experience in both fields, she now lends her expertise to fellow gamers. She is also working towards her MFA in Creative Writing with a focus on Professional Writing.

Industry Focus

My main focus is to provide information that helps other gamers through the adventures they embark on through their alternate lives in various games. No matter the game, there is almost always aspects of it that become difficult. I want to help others through those difficulties and hopefully decrease the amount of rage quitting in each game. 

Favorite Games and Genres

My favorite games would have to be any choice based games, with extra points if it's horror. While I'm a variety gamer and love FPS and Action, my favorite has to be RPGs, Stealth, and Survival Horror. I like the free roaming aspect of it so I can fully immerse myself as if I'm teleporting into a new life. A few of my favorites include Hogwarts Legacy, Thief, Until Dawn, The Walking Dead Series, Outlast, Kingdom Hearts, and Alan Wake 2. 

First Game Console and Preferred Platforms

My first ever game console was the NES. The game I was drawn to on there was Super Mario Bros and Super Mario Bros. 3. Throw in some Duck Hunt and I could sit there for hours. I began playing the NES when I was 3 or 4 before upgrading to the N64 when I was around 5. Currently my preferred platform is PC due to how expansive it is between modding, graphics, multiplayer, et cetera. However, I only just got into PC gaming in 2016. Prior to that, I was console all the way and loved my PlayStations. I loved them so much in fact that I even have a tattoo of the PS buttons behind my ear.
